Some of you might have gotten the smoke test already to see if any kinks remain in our meticulously crafted bazar! Do not fret if you haven't got it yet it's just a failsafe and will roll out soon!

Hey everyone,
There are a few small topics that we wanted to update you all on today.
In update #16, we said that we'd be opening access to the pledge manager (BackerKit) this week. Unfortunately, we've had a slight delay in getting everything set up and will be opening the pledge manager next week. (The delay is, in part, due to a bout of sickness in the Exalted Funeral lair, which set things back a few days. Serious bed rest was required! 1d3 hit points were recovered per day.)
Just a quick note that the pre-release PDFs of the Advanced Fantasy Player's Tome and Referee's Tome have been updated. The updates include fixes for some small issues that were noted by backers. For those who want to keep up to date with changes to the pre-release PDFs, I'd recommend one of the following:
(I do have the option of sending out an email from itch when the PDFs are updated, but I felt that not everyone would appreciate emails potentially every couple of days.)

And now a completely different topic... Carcass Crawler! "What's that?" you may ask. Well, aside from being the name of an iconic monster in Old-School Essentials, it's the name of the official Old-School Essentials zine!
Backers will be receiving a copy of the exclusive inaugural issue! Remember the stretch goal that unlocked a zine-style booklet of expanded character options (including 8 new classes)? Well, this booklet is the exclusive inaugural issue of Carcass Crawler!
As it's an exclusive reward for Kickstarter backers, it's not exactly the official "issue one". A proper issue one will emerge at some point in the future. You can expect to see new classes, magic, monsters, rules options, articles, and so on. (The plan is for issues to be published on a sporadic basis, rather than according to a strict schedule.)
I just wanted to give you a little bit of a glimpse into what lies ahead and into what you'll be receiving.

Following the technical hitch reported in the previous update, I'm very excited to relay the news that I just successfully sent out all pre-release PDFs!
PDFs of all six Advanced Fantasy books:
The four new books (Advanced Fantasy Monsters, Treasures, Player's Tome, and Referee's Tome) are in their near-final form but do not have all finished art in place.
You'll each have received links to download the PDFs of all Advanced Fantasy books that are included in your pledge tier. None of the free extras (e.g. The Incandescent Grottoes, the reference booklet, etc.) have been released at this stage.
The books have been proofread, but little errors have a way of slipping through even the tightest of nets. Any errata reported now can be fixed before the physical books are printed.
The best way to report errata is to use the Community discussion feature on the itch page for the book in question:

Hey everyone,
Just a very quick update today to report that unfortunately an unforeseen technical hitch has prevented me from sharing the pre-release PDFs with you all today.
I generated all the pre-release PDFs and uploaded them to itch.io. I exported the list of backers and separated them into lists of who is due access to which books. I sent out download links to a small subset of backers as a test. Only at this stage was it revealed that the itch.io admin team needs to give manual approval of any batches of download links that are sent out! (To prevent spam, apparently.) I'm now awaiting this approval...
I'll send out the download links to you all as soon as I get approval from itch.io. As this is the first time I've done this, I unfortunately can't say how long the approval might take to come through.
I'm really sorry about this, as I know that many of you have been eagerly awaiting the PDFs today!
